The newly released proposed overtime regulations are estimated to make 5 million workers eligible for overtime pay. After being directed to review and amend the so-called "white collar" exemptions to the overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Department of Labor (DOL) has finally issued proposed revised regulations and that propose significant changes. Specifically, the DOL and Obama administration have aimed to significantly decrease the number of employees classified as exempt (not eligible for overtime) and pass that cost on to employers. Take a look at this webinar where Chris explains more about the regulation and what it could mean for your business.
